... by pedal power. We stopped and ate our rolls on a shingle beach on the shores of lake Como and then set off for what should have been an easy 2 and a half hour drive to Caprino Veronese. However this was not the case. From here things took a turn for the worse and somehow we lost 3 hours of the day. Eventually we found B & B Casapiu. A rustic renovated 14th century guesthouse in ...

The final (Serbia vs. Croatia) we agreed was one of the best games we have ever seen. The shooting was especially fun to watch along with the reactions on everyone's faces. The perfect place to end the day. Emerson's hightlight was that the hotel has "one of those butt baths like at Garry's house", I couldn't admit it to her, but it was one of mine too :)

Our last night in Italy (for now) we came down from the mountain ( not in his triumph) (or similar) and have spent our last 2 days on the shores of lake Garda at the beautiful hotel Gardenia Al Lago in the small town of Gargnano. Taking it relatively easy, relaxing in the peaceful garden beside the lake or on one of our 2 count then 2, balconies overlooking the lake! Took a short trip out this morning to drive (a challenging road) from lake side up through a fabulous gorge to the hill ...
