... Those who recall OHMSS, with George Lazenby as James Bond will recognise the Schiltorn as "Piz Gloria" as this is where the Alpine scenes where filmed. Spectacular! From the village, you have a clear view of the Eiger, the Munch, and the Jungfrau just peeps over them. Fantastic mountain scenery, and we were blessed with a wonderful clear day to enjoy it. The cable car ride down was fun, partly because ...

... to drive across the bridge!! We explained ourselves, they demanded our passports, licence and hire documents. Vlad was getting concerned, but Ivan thought it was a big joke!! One guard the approached Vlad and said, "you've got money??" We'll, we knew exactly what that mean't, so we only had one option. Vlad went to get his Freddie, but Ivan beat him to it by a split second. After Vlad gave them a couple of tie tacks, and Ivan said he would shout them ...

... just so. There is one in between that checks each other's skin for pimples and spots, dealing with the former there and then, as others look on a little disgusted. Talk about romance

We stay until the final warning of closure. Much like the local pool the place gives a warning the hour before, half hour before, quarter, ten and five minutes before, the last in a slightly more hurried voice.

Walking back to the pier we pass the train museum, something ...
