    ... Our apartment is lovely with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, living room with a large screen TV and a nice bed room with a King size bed. The only thing wrong is the bed is foam but hard as a rock. We were told by the reception staffer that the stores were closed tomorrow so we should go shopping tonight. So off to the local low cost shopping store. Grocery shopping here can be quite affordable if you go to the discount stores first like Aldi ...

    Ignoring the typical grey sky of a North German autumn we headed out to the spectacular town of Monschau which was established about 1000 years ago. On the way we passed through Holland and Belgium to reach this small German town, an experience that is incomprehensible to an Australian mindset.

    ... risk it. Thus she got my yummy soup and i got her ceaser salad.

    After lunch we went and drank some more beer. Next was another dark beer, this also came with cheese flavored by feeding the cows the discarded wheat, malt and hops. It was great.

    The next beer we got was a blond. This was nice but not as flavorsome as dark beers.

    Once we had this beer we were basically ready to head back.
