Some entrants passed out hot kaffe-schnapps (Kafi Luz). I had a couple to warm up and that hit real fast. Coffee & alcohol with a kick. Definitely warmed up but declined any more or I would not be able to walk (and I can usually hold hard liquor ok... hmm... )

Entrants ran up to people (like us) and handed out candy, paper ads, fruit. The kid beside us raked in a good haul ...

So it is very easy for them to play outside all day and you don't need to worry) I usually play with Jack (3) in the afternoon, we do go outside for a while, and sometimes he prefers to stay out with the other children, but often he'll need entertaining so we play badminton, go on their "trotties" or fly with a kite. In the evening the mother comes home, and at that point the boys are besotted with her - ...
