The rain having stopped we were keen to get outside again. So after consulting a map we set out to explore the region to the SW of the Sempachsee. The route was circular and steep and after completing the circuit that took us through some beautiful countryside and into some small quaint villages we arrived back at Sempach having completed 57kms and climbed some 800 meters altitude.
