      From our overnight at Lake Hubbard, we drove to Dallas to the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a request from Jimmy. EXCELLENT choice- so interesting, from the first exhibit about the American pastime of baseball ( and ALL the Presidents involvements), to the Response to 9-11 exhibit, and the Oval Office reproduction.       ... the real deal. The traditional buildings, and old fashioned style give tourist a true “southern hospitality” feeling. There were plenty of people around me who were also taking pictures, buying merchandise, but mostly, enjoying the fresh air, and absorbing all of the history, and culture.

      The end of our season is upon us. Usually Kelly Miller Circus closes in Ardmore, Oklahoma with a short drive back to our home in Hugo, Oklahoma to celebrate. This season, we were able to add on 9 days of shows in Fort Worth, Texas at El Gran Plaza off of 35W. At the time of this writing, we've been here three days with a final closing date of November 2, 2014.

      Today was a more relaxed day. A sleep in, late breakfast and a bit of shopping before heading back to North Crowley High School. At the school we watched the Casey Cav's Junior Varsity team play against another local high school team. The Cav's were beaten convincingly by a much bigger and stronger team.
