This wonderful ancient Greek statue is believed to depict Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. The statue was simply enchanting. Well worth a visit.     Basically I came to Europe at a perfect time. It's spring, it's nice and warm but not too warm, the sun is shining, there are beautiful flowers everywhere AND everything isn't too crowded yet like it will be in high season (late May/June - September).

    ... cafeteria on level 6, get a coffee and marvel at the looking over the rooftops of Paris to the Eiffel Tower in the grey mist.By the time Cath meets me and due to the late start we lunch at the cafeteria with a plat du jour and a piche of vin rouge.
