    ... off the amazing women who were dancing. At one time there were so many I threw
    my neck out trying to see them all! Now the show was in French so when a woman
    dived into a glass case of water with 3 pythons in it (real pythons) it was
    kind of strange but the stage elevated from below the floor, which was
    incredible.

    I was glad to get away from 30 degree days and 20 degree nights with no airconditioning. After 5 weeks in Spain, where it has been that hot for most of the time, I have come to the realisation that I prefer a more temperate climate.
    Getting from Barcelona to Paris was difficult, but it was doable and therefore easier than I feared it was going to be. My last day in Barcelona was a Saturday, and I chose to visit the Palace/art ...

    ... Spent quite a bit of time in the prison where Marie Antionette was prior to being beheaded, that was really interesting. It's a place called the conciergerie. It was a palace first then became a prison. Marie's cell was reconstructed on the actual site of her dungeons. Hopped on the metro and went to Printemps, like Gallarie Lafayette, for a spot of shopping. Got lost again, ...

    ... and settling in Nancy. We're no longer tourists, we're now students with French long stay student visas. Oh goodness. I'm excited though!! So much planning and anticipation has gone into this study abroad program that I just want to start classes already!     ... on hop off bus. Paid 20 euros each to do this for the day. Went through to the Eiffel Tower then decided to get off to see it up close.....wow how the hell did they build it and so quickly. Not many in queue and as we wanted to see other things, took the lift rather than stairs...we'll that's my excuse anyway.
