Nice, modern place to stay with great prices. Close to the airport (15 minutes) and quiet. Ideal stopover place to recover from a long flight. Staff were extremely helpful, polite and professional. Rooms were clean, large and offered all the amenities a modern traveller needs. Would definitely stay again if a stopover was required due to my flights.
I didn't use the facilities or restaurants so I can't make any comments. Rooms service was great and the food was good. Considering it was New Year's Eve they get a bonus because the hotel restaurants was very busy.

I left on my East African safari adventure on New Year's Eve, 2013. It certainly was a fortuitous day to start my journey, which I had changed at the last minute because I was hoping to see the fireworks in Abu Dhabi.
I arrived promptly in Abu Dhabi after a great Etihad flight, which I had used my points to upgrade to business class. A …
I've gotten into a routine in Abu Dhabi of waking up earlyish, having a quick cup or tea before heading down to the pool to chill while Kev goes to the gym. Once he's done we get ready to go out. Today we have lunch in the pool, yep in the pool before we head out to check out a posh mall called The Galleria. It's quite an impressive building filled …
I don't know how Kev does it but he's awake way too early for someone who only went to sleep 4 hours ago! Am still half asleep when he tells me he's going to the gym and I'm still in bed when he comes back but I do start to get up to help with the toast when he starts cooking omelettes. We're both so knackered from our long day and night the day …
I have quickly gotten used to waking up late because a very very early start today is almost impossible. I get woken up at 6.30am by my cousin so that we can get ready to leave by 7ish to get to Jumeirah Beach. The morning is a bit of a blur but I do remember getting the bus and walking to the beach. The beach is beautiful and quite busy for 8am. I …
It's a late start today as we stayed up late watching the game. Kev makes breakfast of bacon, fried eggs, toast and beans; I've definitely got my appetite back! After a long chat with Josephine (the lady at the front desk can sure chat) we head off to Yas Waterworld. I was just expecting something small where we could spend a few hours in the …
