    ... champaign and we were soon toasting our short holiday with our friends.

    We elected the early seating so we could then go on deck to see the beauty of the Sjogården in the light of the setting sun. We also enjoyed listening some of the passengers sing in the karaoke bar...some quite good, others who were sadly unaware of the quality of their voice.     The town is relatively modern with a few remaining historical homes and a great example of the the famous Clippers that were built on the Clyde and sailed around the Horn on the trading route between Europe and Australia.

    ... I take the second option. It does not matter where to laze but it would be nice to sleep longer in the morning.
    The ferry gets there with half an hour delay. Wind is chilly although sun is shining.
    I look at the church. It's from 1728, dedicated to Maria Magdalen and is the smallest wooden church in Finland. Looks lovely. Sottunga is appropriately the smallest municipality in Finland. Area 342 km2, of this 27 km2 land, four inhabited islands and a bunch of ...
