... thank you which I can't really remember much of, but the moment was unforgettable, to add to so many this year, and I was very grateful for all that the staff and students and parents of Prairie Rose had done for me. I brought Timmy's donuts in the next day to thank all the kids for their hard work, nothing like a sugar rush to start the day...( I gave them out just before recess, I'm not stupid!)

... my car, warm it up and scrape all the ice off of the windows if there's been a blizzard. I just turn it on and get the heater blasting while I do this, and unless it's below minus 25, I usually am almost not freezing by the time I jump in! There's no point sitting in the vehicle while it's warming up, because it's almost as cold as it is outside! I've had a mug of tea frozen solid sitting in the cup holder for a week now, so at least I don't have to worry about it ...

... loose ice off the rink. Before the start of the game and at the end of each period 2 water trucks come out and spread a layer of water on the rink to freeze the top over. Before the National Anthems are sung a child previously chosen by the home team proudly skates around with the flag and the team and later stands to attention with the other players during the Anthems. After the first period 2 teams of cute littlies ...

Day 4 :Winnipeg- part 2

... Alive which is like a zoo. It was really pretty there the prairie dogs had dug out of their pen and where roaming the parking lot.They where really adorable and made cute squeaky noises.

For dinner we went to Crazy and Wild Dingo Dogs.I had been really excited for it all day and it turned out to be not all that good.

Tomorrow we are driving to Regina Saskatchewan!!!!
