... going to do with the left over rolls?" The worker replied that they would be thrown away.

There were easily 100-200 mini caramel rolls left over.

I offered to take the rolls to the Dorothy Day House across the street from Concordia's campus. The worker said that that was not allowed for health and sanitary reasons. "So if these had been wrapped up before being served then it would be okay?" I asked. The worker replied, "Probably ...
Kolding, Jutland, Denmark meluebke... Then we asked us what values we would give to our children. What would we teach them? What do we want them to grow up knowing and understanding. He asked us to think of what our parents have taught us. Would we pass down those values to our children?

I wrote: My mom taught me strength; how to be strong in any situation and look forward. She taught me the importance of prayer and constantly tells me that she prays for me every night before going to bed ...
Kolding, Jutland, Denmark meluebke... the birth of the nation of Denmark. Of course squeezed in LegoLand which is done very well. Folke Ferie house/bungalow in the beach woods at the Middelfart Kursus centre by the fiord overlooking the island of Faeno was very pleasant for kids to play & walk. Overall recommend this little country with a big heart to other travellers with children who want a piece of living history & a relaxed time.
Middelfart, Fyn and the Central Islands, Denmark tucker47Stayed in Aarhus as our sleep over stop, mainly becasue Billund has no hostels! Didn't do anything on our night there, as it had taken us about 8 hours to make it there from Berlin, many change overs on trains!

Went to Legoland on the second day. It was ace! Though many children running around, & they seem to think that Criel as an amazing city in Scotland. We eventually got water rides, something whcih we have been looking for since we started!
Billund, Jutland, Denmark s.cruickshankWe met early in the morning to settle in for the 3.5 hour drive from Copenhagen to Billund and the scenery was gorgeous from the double-decker bus. The driver was a hoot and seemed very excited to be taking usto Legoland; he even had ussynchronize our watches so that we could be "precise" with meet ontime! After a quick pit stop andmore driving we finally made it to Legoland!

I spent the day with Andrea and Kelly (Yay ...
Billund, Region South Denmark, Denmark annalise.m... the front of the rollercoaster; I think they recognized that we were a little new to this process so no one became frustrated with us and instead filed in behind after we moved.

I also enjoyed all of the miniature versions of major Scandinavian locations like Nyhavn in Denmark and parts of Sweden. There was also a replica of Hollywood, California and the Statue of Liberty! I'd be interested to see the replicas in other countries' Legolands.
Billund, Jutland, Denmark annalise.m... Han is a few years older, married, and came to University here for 3 years, a few years ago. He didn't want to study in China and a friend was here. He went back to China for a few years and decided to finish his degree. So he's back. I didn't talk much to the third guy as he was away when I checked in and chatted with Thomas and Han. When he came back he wasn't feeling well, from something he ate, and went straight to bed ...
Kolding, Jutland, Denmark cobra1899... The train was very comfortable so the 1 ½ past pretty quick. We were going to visit Peters cousin Jane and her husband Niels. I had woken with a headache that slowly worked itself into a migraine. Niels picked us up at the station in Slagelse about 45 minutes from their home. By the time we got there my migraine was pretty bad. And for once I didn't have any migraine tablets, Neurofen did nothing. Jane had put on a lovely lunch, but I ...
Fredericia, Jutland, Denmark friiskiwi... Mike: Again we were soo happy to see these friends again, and we got suuuch a lovely warm welcome; and agaaaain they had a beautiful house in a divine part of the world, looking out to the water. A very peaceful family, unlike ours some might say (!!), their home very much reflected this. A real oasis of tranquillity, calming white walls and simple yet stylish Danish interiors, with noooo noise from the outside world, it ...
Fredericia, Jutland, Denmark chalmersfamily... then head north to Esbjerg, Hvide Sande and Ringkobing. The coastal area of Hvide Sande reminds us a little of southern California beaches with lots of tourists, so we don't linger here. After spending the night along the way in Hornslet, we travel on toward Arhus. Arhus is a huge city and we decide to pass it by in favor of spending some time in Hamburg, Germany. We spend our ...
