French patriotic fervor is building... we saw tanks today! Here's to Bastille Day. Vive la revolution. As long as it waits till we have had our omelette...

Today we woke up to skipping breakfast! We walked down what seemed like a million steps in the Metro. We took the train to the Eiffel Tower at 9:00 because a guide said it opened at about then.
