I'm in Casablanca now, it's 31°, Nantes was 12 °. It's brown like Australia, France was lush and green,I don't suppose they have great tasting strawberries here. How odd, this morning I was wandering around the market in La Boule, now Casablanca. Two hours flight and the world has completely changed, it's not like this in Australia! Waiting for Dad (Chris), I haven't heard from him. I wrote an email on Friday, no response. Hope all is ...

... Ancenis where we have a lovely room in a very old home. Loved the welcoming espresso and madeleines! Although our cycle was mostly flat we challenged ourselves with a steep climb up to a village with a great outlook over the valley! A perfect picnic spot! Oh yes -- Werner did indeed score his new poster here from a little bar, once again after many smiles and gestures:)

    Next stop - Anger!

... br> there is the most enormous mechanical elephant and
    I mean truly enormous!!
It's about three stories high and slowly moves along
    the dock carrying people
    up high squirting
water as it goes. It really is an amazing feat of engineering, it's
hard to describe it's just one of those things that needs to be seen.

    Off
to the coast tomorrow, lets see how the pensioners get on with the
    new sat nav.

... Chateau Des Ducs De Bretagne. We didn't feel like renting an audio guide so I made up the history and told Mike. He was skeptical that it was built in 1986 and at one time housed the entire Harlem Globetrotters basketball team when they came over for the Olympics. I think that would be more interesting than some old Duke's summer home...right? After this we walked past the Le Lieu Unique which was a cool old building but darned if I can remember why and had a wander ...

Last time I was here, I couldn't walk yet. Now I can, yey!!

The Christmas market is so cool. Lots of people offering all kinds of stuff. I got to try roasted Chestnuts, sugar pretzels, and all sort of treats.

The lights are even prettier, but I wasn't allow to put them in my mouth. Bummer.
