          Our last visit was to The Mall of the Emirates, a huge complex not far from Palm Jumeirah, which unbelievably has a multi storey ski slope constantly at -4 degrees centigrade.
          This snow ski complex is also complete with a ski lodge and snow themed food hall and accommodation!

The "creek" that ran through this area was wider than the Brisbane river, but was busy with small traditional boats and the larger dhows used for dinner cruises, one that we would be experiencing tonight. The Gold Souk was the next one we visited - this one was far busier - with many, many windows displaying very yellow gold jewellery of all shapes and sizes.           The day couldn’t end better, an informal dinner and drinks with ACTE members where I got the chance to listen to funny and sometimes scary stories given by their years of experience.
