We arrived in Prague later in the evening. We checked into the hostel, which felt more of a young adult hotel than a hostel. We were all hungry and found a pizza place down the road from the hostel. Eventually all of LBS found the same pizza place and it was one big dinner. For a group of 6 of us, the cost was 1,500 crowns or 40 pounds or about 65 dollars. I felt ...

It didn’t take me long to come to the conclusion that Prague is definitely one of my favourite cities so far. She said she has a show tonight and she doesn't finish until 23h00 anyway, and she's going out ...

My first stop was the Tyn Church. The architecture of the church is one of my favorite of any gothic structure I've ever seen, but the interior is rather boring. The white walls and high ceilings make for a very cold and bland interior. The alter was unimpressive and the few paintings are uninspired. My next stop was the Municipal Building. ...

... Mary above the main alter. Apparently people used to adorn her with expensive necklaces. One night, a thief tried to steal the jewels from around Mary’s neck, but the statue reached out and grabbed his arm. The thief tried and tried to pull his hand free, but to no avail. He waited there all night, and in the morning, a parishioner came in and tried to help free his hand. It was no use, so the parishioner took out their sword, to cut the man free. Just as the sword ...
