Days 8-10: Olsztyn
... had travelled to Poland for the Euro 2012 championships apparently more interested in finding a wife than watching the football!

Der dritte Tag
E.D.: : über Gdansk/Danzig nach Olsztyn/Allenstein
Das war ein spannender Tag: zunächst fanden wir kein Frühstück (in dem Hotelchen letzte Nacht gab es keins,aber wir fanden auch kein Restaurant), und fuhren sozusagen 'darbend' los, und es wird langsam ganz schön kalt (zeitweise nur noch 5 Grad, aber wir sind ja gut gerüstet.

The BIG Day
... champagne and then sit down to our meal. Halfway through the meal we are led to another room for 'mead tasting' where the translator helps a local guy explain how he makes mead from honey and we all get to try various strengths of mead. Yummy.
We have another day to recover and then its back on the road. We have to go back to the Mlyn at some point although perhaps during the summer next time.....

Good Bye to Poland
As our stay in Poland came to a close, we slowly said good bye to all of our family and friends. We had a number of farewell dinners with Ciocia Niusia, and Ciocia Ela and her sons Maciek and Michal. Polish wedding
... the newly weds had to buy their way across with either a 1/2 liter of vodka for adults, or a handful of candies for kids. From their we were off to the restaurant for festivities for 80 people. Food was served for everyone all night long. Every hour or so, a new dish was brought out and everyone ate until they were incredibly full, and then we all ate some more. The 2 person ...
