We had another tour booked with SPB Tours for Stockholm. It was scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM, so we ordered a room service breakfast and got off the ship shortly after it docked at 9:00 AM. It was a beautiful day, partly cloudy with temps in the low 60's. This time, there was an SPB representative just outside the port gate and she told us to "follow the blue line" and we would see another person with a SPB sign who would direct us to our bus. We followed the blue line to ...

... main harbour area of Stockholm which is really beautiful. It was a lovely day and the area was busy with all types of craft, small ferries which move around the various islands in the harbour to large transport ferries that also take vehicles to other islands of the archipelago, lots of pleasure craft and also several large cruise liners in port. And so we make our way out to explore what Stockholm has to offer us. We don’t have a concrete plan, just a roam around on the first day and see where the streets take us – first stop was up Stallgatan towards the Old Town and the Royal Palace. We walked the beautifully cobbled streets paving the Old Town ...

... experiences of last week was the sudden death of one of Victoria's closest friends in Miami. While we tried to comfort her, she really yearned to go home and finally we couldn't convince her to stay here, so all of the Nilbrinks are leaving in the next few days.

We'll deliver Victoria to her flight tomorrow and we hope to fly to Spain next Tuesday.

          Roadtrip to Stockholm

... I was younger. I drove past our old house, remembered which streets my friends used to live on, drove past my old school and the train station. The memories! In the evening, my grandmother and I went to my granddad for coffee and a chat with him and my cousin Beatrice. On Monday, I continued my roadtrip towards Stockholm. For the first time ever, I didn't stop at my relatives in Södertälje, which is where we usually go. Instead I ...
