      Santa Barbara is freakishly, almost perfect. It basks in pleasant, warm weather (84 degrees at 4pm as we arrived), nestles beneath a backdrop of mountains and sits on the Pacific.       ... all night. This could be because a) jalapeños wreaked havoc on my unconscious mind and b) that bed was just way to big. So comfortable though. The Whittemore's house is decorated in this great, seaside feel. Boats,lighthouses, shells, etc everywhere and it is really fun. I kept seeing new things, so that was cool.
