    ... a lot of history and the buildings are old. Its interesting to note that in spite of the city having been severely bombed by the allies during the war, the three cathedrals, which sport tall spires, were never hit or damaged. Must be a divine force at work.

    ... So we ended up turning around and having to negotiate a complicated diversion.

    We arrived at Hamburg at around 2.00 where we checked into the luxurious four star Maddison Hotel which had been booked for us by my business associates from DVA. Pure luxury after our bus. Our bus has a total of 4.5 square meters of living space, now we were thrown into 35 square meters. We nearly lost each other.

    I woke up around 11 with a terrible terrible hangover and spent about two hours trying to get out of the house.
