... soldiers lost their lives during WW1, the front line of the war crossed Monte Grappa. After taking in the views and exploring monuments, we stopped in the restaurant at the top to eat some lunch. In the bar next to the restaurant had snakes (vipers) in bottles filled with grappa to preserve the dead animals.
