    Today we are docked at Remagen and meet our tour guides to see the Bridge at Remagen Museum, which is a memorial to peace. As you walk toward the museum, first you see across the Rhine River what is left of the bridge on the other side of the river. And you also see the remnants of the opposite side of the railway bridge built in 1916 to 1918 to supply troops during WWI. It was used briefly after it was finished but was left unused until WWII in 1944 to 1945.Remagen ...

    ... markets and a windmill in which a family live. They must like all the tourists who stop by to take photos. Then after dinner ventured into Amsterdam to see the "night life" along with a lot of other people, Saturday night you couldn't move. Wall to wall people.     ... to get into the university is that you must pass the physical tests. Which you can only fail 1 out of the 20 tests. It's pretty high and the fail rate is around 55%. It's a combination of swimming, track and field, gymnastics and team sports tests. So it's actually quite hard to get in for the Germans. So, that's a little bit about the university.     ... to transfer to our train so had to wait until 9am to get our first coffee in Mainz. Mainz has a nice Hauptbahnhof with all of the regular shops like McDonalds, Starbucks and Ditsch, which sell Bretzels and coffee. We weren’t keen on spending a Euro each to use the toilets, so we waited until we caught our connecting train at 9:30am to Bonn.
