We boarded the 747 at 1205A local time already well into Saturday morning for my body clock. Able to pre-board and settle into my aisle seat. Even though it was coach the seat was very comfortable. Two four hour naps, two movies, two meals and about 100 pages we arrived to Taipei airport. Rode the train to Ruifang for the second day in row, but this time transfered to a bus for the ride up to Jinguashi. Stopped in at the Gold Museum and the Beishan Fifth Tunnel to see what it was like for miners working underground... plus touched the worlds largest gold bar in the museum.

Then set off to hike Teapot mountain, continuing to Mt. Banping (713m), and finally a sidetrip to Mt Caiguangliao.

The Hostel was very nice, it was more like a hotel with more beds per room, very different from the one in Tokyo where it was a bunch of random people thrown into a room together. There was even a television in each room as well.

... time there, John's first, and it was just as amazing and breathtaking as the first. Truly, the craftsmenship people put into their work was second to none. Curio boxes, the 17 balls made of ivory, and ivory baskets still are the top work of arts to me there. After we were done exploring the museum, we went up to the 4th floor where we ate at the restaurant up there. (Insert name, I forget these things). I remember it being alot better than ...
