        ... ride on the express train clocked at 127+ miles per hour. That was both of our land speed records, or for certain by train. The train ride is smooth as glass.         ... that we would eat out tonight as we had been good eating at home the last 2 nights. We found an Irish pub of all things that had a good and affordable selection of meals...and full strength beer! It was just hamburgers and fish and chips but T least the kids ate it all without any dramas While we were there an Australian couple from Brisbane came in who had house exchanged for 2 weeks with a guy from Stockholm so it was good chatting to them ...

        ... rows with extra legroom (Christoffer is super tall, so he could use those handicapped seats, hahaa). The theater was pretty packed! Like everyone was sitting in the back half of the theater, and there were no spaces between people. I sat next to a group of Swedish teenage girls... this is relevant because we were seeing "Annabelle", a horror movie about a possessed doll.

        Apparently something like 90%25 of the movies in Swedish theaters are Ameircan, haha! So ...

        ... buildings are from the 1700 and 1800 century. The dominant building in the old city is the king's castle. The old town is the place to be if you want to experience the town's pulse. The area has Stockholm's biggest ranges of restaurants, tourist shops, studios and museums. There are many wonderful paths to walk in the old town.

        Gamla Stan contained the magnificent palace, along with interesting sculptures ...
