... in nightclubs and bars, which charge ridiculous prices for drinks! For party animals, Miami is perfect, but it wasn’t for us. To us, the Southern states (Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee) felt far more like “real” America than Miami, where 60% of the population speak Spanish as a first language.

Our next stop is the capital – Washington DC. I wonder if we’ll bump into Obama?

... unlike anything we've experienced so far. When we found out that it was an 8pm start, we debated whether or not to bring Austin and Owen. They did really great considering that we were way past their bedtime, but in retrospect we probably would have been better off not taking them to this particular game with a late start. After lunch we head up to the eighth floor pool which is adults only, and settle down next to a well-known '90s DJ who's catching the rays. Praise him!
