... hopeful that overseas countries may relax their warnings on Kashmir. Today (December 2013), the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs gives a "Do Not Travel" warning for Kashmir, with the exception of Srinagar and Jammu which still have a concerning "Reconsider Your Need to Travel" warning.

Incidentally, we read in the newspaper the following day that an army soldier was killed and another injured when militants opened fire on the Srinagar - Jammu ...
