... which was spectacular stopping at the top of the mountain and saw the view over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius.
We had booked a hotel in Maoiri, smaller town about 15 mins around the coast from Amalfi. The first night we enjoyed the sunset on the beach over the bay, then went for dinner at one of the top rated restaurants in the towns (which was lovely). They even gave us a free glass of wine in the street while we waited for a table!

We kicked off in Pompeii, it was a pretty hot day. So hot. Pompeii is much bigger than we thought and we snuck in on tours to hear info about the parts and history.
