... of our boat trip, I would still highly recommend renting a boat to see the coastline. It was a lot of fun to make our own decisions on where to stop for lunch, and when to swim, etc. Two very important lessons are to check the boat very carefully to ensure everything is in working order (i.e. the anchor), and to make sure you have a plan if the water gets too choppy. I think we should have turned around and left the boat at Capri and taken the Ferry back to Sorrento.

... get back on the ship after being ashore for 8 hours, it really does feel like home and to get back to a room that has been tidied up while you we're away, and if needed you can swim to cool down or eat in the unlikely event that you are hungry (or even if you are not). Tonight we are looking forward to seeing another of the shows in the theatre. Everything on board is done well, we will miss it when we finish in Barcelona in 5 days time. I will have to say - this has been a pretty good father's day. The sweetness of doing nothing! If anyone knows me well, it is kind of hard for me to do nothing!
