Westpac is causing us some grief with our credit cards and they gave us a 24hr number to call reversing the charges through the international operator - Italy doesn't have any operators! So, we went to the Tabaccaio buy a phone card - which one?- who knows! It didn't work anyway - each time we tried, the message came back that no such number existed. I asked the hotel where to go and I ended up in the Navigli District. It’s a cute strip of restaurants and bars with apperativos along a canal. I found a crowded bar with loads of apperativos on the bar. I bellied up to the bar and took in the atmosphere.

WOW, wow, wow. Leaving Switzerland, as lovely as it was, was an absolute pleasure both Chris and I stated that the scenery was better than going fast. Looking at the vineyards cut into the mountain and the surrounding mountains was spectacular. Then we left and got into Italy, again WOW.
