    ... future but right now this little Republic is doing something right and I feel very lucky to have been able to visit and experience so much of what this beautiful place has to offer. If we hadn't gone to Milan we would have never really thought of visiting San Marino but I am certainly glad we did.     ... sites in Italian and English which was great! We walked past the various sites the hostel guy had circled on the map ending at the Tiberius Bridge which is 2000 years old and still in use today! Up close it did not look like the most sturdious bridge but still impressive to see.

    After that we went back to one of the main squares for our first Italian dinner lasagna and salad - yum!

    ... top of the hill, has spectacular views, fabulous food, and if you are touring and like finer living this is for you.
    The pasta with bacon starter was great.
    The beef with truffles, and grilled vegetables, was magnifico!
    Now it probably deserved a fine wine, Ollie can choose that once he pulls his finger out.
    I'm normally about a half hour stop type of guy, but this because of the menu, and views, got a good two hours out of me.
