... opulence now). Food fantastic as they prepared a late lunch on our arrival Saturday.
Sunday saw us leave Trento following city exploration and head west to Valle Felicita/Monte Grappa - again - as base for Venice. Passing Lago Calazzona which was picturesque we travelled through myriad of tunnels again to arrive in our favourite little town for another 2 nights stay with Sebastiano and ...
What a pleasant surprise package this was. We stayed at a beautiful guest house in Valle Felicita owned by two gorgeous young Italians with 2 kids. It was a home away from home and as such we decided to stay 4 days. We had intended travelling to Venice from here but John has been unwell with flu so we stayed put so he could rest. Today we were supposed to get up early and visit Trevisio. Instead we decided to sleep in and take it easy for the day. We went to Aunt Severina and Uncle Firmino's house for dinner. We dined with my aunt, uncle and cousin (Ivanno) for a couple of hours, and was lucky enough to catch a few minutes with my other cousin (Walter) before he left for the evening. The meal was a superb Italian home cooked dinner, while drinking plenty of homemade Prosecco.
