... GARBAGE there was .... Everywhere!!! And dog POOH!! We saw a "lady " walking her, very large, dog ... it deposited three very large.... "logs" .... while she just blithely walked on. Another lady chastised her, but all she did was glance over her shoulder and flip the lady the bird. Oh the French and their savoire-faire. Made it back to our suite and are just recovering a bit before attempting ...
... and enjoy coffee and croissants at one of the indoor cafes. We spent over five hours at the Eiffel Tower lingering at each level and admiring the views from the top to the bottom. We even went back several times during our stay just to see the lights at night and to admire the beauty of the tower.
