Well located with a very good infra-structure. Should have wi fi in the room as well, it was only available at the lounge.

Hotel was ok, its a tad run down but did the job, it is in a great location, right in the middle of town near all the shops and the trolleys.

It was a nice stay mainly because the hotel's location was really great. In the middle of SFO main shopping area. Around the hotel you can find all the branded shops and department stores as well as the famous cable car main station.

But the hotel has a very old feel to it, especially the bathroom. Room was pretty okay.

Staffs were very polite and helpful.

All in all it was a nice stay.

          Good Value Clean Rooms

Generally the hotel was very good. Helpful staff, clean rooms nicely appointed. My only issues were that wifi was a cost option from your room when the literature made it appear free. Free internet access was only available from 2 floors from fixed computers, also no fridge in the bedroom, and they didn't restock the team and coffee during our 4 day stay. None of these issues are major concerns but just the difference between a 4 and 5 star ranking. We would stay here again.

The first day of our stay we liked to have a nice and well located hotel in the centre of San Francisco. And a hotel that could be easily reached by public transport. Parc 55 Wyndham met all the requirements.
We had a very pleasant stay.

Made it to the plane as it was boarding. Our seats were the last 2 rows of the plane, what????
Short flying time from LA to San Francisco, about 55 minutes. I think we all slept a bit except Toby. A can ride to the hotel but too early to check in plus we need to stay awake. Walked down into Union Square, only a few hundred meters away. They …

... of photos of the last day that Alcatraz was a prison. Seeing the different demeanours of officers and prisoners told a wonderful story. For some it was their last day in prison, for others it was off to a new prison to continue a long sentence. We bought the book of photos as our souvenir of the day (as well as your usual touristy t-shirts!) After that trip we spent the rest of the day down around Fisherman's Wharf. ...

Today we went to prison, although it almost didn't happen. We'd been through the entrance and stood in the queue for the boat trip to Alcatraz, when the lady who checked our ticked for the second time, advised us that our ticket was for yesterday, doh! "Never mind" she said, go back to the ticket office and get a stand-by ticket. So we got our stand-by ticket and wondered how long we might have to wait, however we got onto the same boat we thought we were ...
