There were spiritual people all over wanting to bless you, for a fee, and if you declined the blessing turned into insults and some form of satanic curse being placed on you for this lifetime and the next. I have never seen so many people working the crowd, beggars with polio, missing limbs, snotty nosed ...

We have found the one place on earth with more yoga studios, vegetarian restaurants, winky book stores and rock crystal shops, than Vancouver's Kitsilano. That place is Rishikesh.

Rishikesh is beautifully located where the Ganges River (the spiritual life-blood of India) tumbles out of the Himalayan Mountains onto the planes of Northern India. The Beatles came here to hang out in 1968 and since then Rishikesh has become a "must see" ...
