... well into the night as do most parties in Mexico. Mexicans know how to party!

On the way over we got to see the active Colima Volcano spew a little steam out and on our way home the winds whipped up a rather dense dust storm across the dry lake beds just west of us. The three and a half hour drive was over quickly with toll roads the entire way once we were away from Lake Chapala.

... the beach here, just finished a delicious mango on a stick, hey you have to support the beach vendors. Ray is coming out of the water, I’ll get an updated snorkeling report from him. Kona is almost out of energy after swimming and running a few kilometers chasing his ball. Ray says visibility is still low, but I may have to go out and verify. ... on. Mexico is clearly a major producer of these agricultural products that I'm not sure what we would do without them. Their potential can be illustrated by the fact that they get 11 cuttings of alphalfa hay in a growing season whereas in Canada we are lucky we can get 3 cuttings in a season.

... time is code for 1 1/2 hrs later. And yes, at 8:00 the dancers arrived.

We ordered dinner and as always, no ice tea so I asked for water. Unfortunately I must have been off gawking at something when he said "con gas" because I always as for it without. Here they'll serve you a nasty salty carbonated water unless you say "sin gas, por favor." So the waiter brings me my water, I open it (gawking off at the sunset no doubt) and it bubbles all over. Oh no, ...

... Las Hadas, the very popular resort, Bob chose the Dolphin Cove Inn right next door. Ahh... the view was magnificent and the whitewashed buildings reminded me of Santorini.
