    ... kayaking flew by and we finished up at an incredible beach that you can only access by boat. It was stunning and the freestanding rock formations littered around the coast were exemplified by the nature of this beach. It is a truly stunning coastline from start to finish. There is not a single bad point the whole way around. It is just beautiful. After a 30 minute swim on the beach it was time to head back.     ... seem to speak some English, but they are delighted when do don't have to - RESPECT! Yay Kate! Very warm welcomes and huge smiles seem to be the default attitude here. Although it's hot - about 30 degrees each day we were here - the city has thousands of trees and gorgeous shady squares where the temperature drops by 10 degrees and a refreshing breeze cools the happy flaneur at every turn ....oh joy and rapture ...

    ... about a 30 minute walk we found ourselves at the Praia do Camilo which is a world famous beach.

    On the way we found a nice little shop to get a few ciders for the hot walk. Once we arrived the golden sands were stunning and it had a uniquely african feel to it from the surrounding rock formations in the cliffs.
