A spout of at least twenty feet erupted through the blow hole and into the air as if some invisible whale had been behind all the fun. Soaked by the menacing spray, we became immediately overcome by laughter and I thanked him for contributing to a truly wonderful experience.

The island from the east looks like a giant plateau raised out of the water with tall inhospitable cliffs 200feet high, scrubby windswept bushes and rocky shores. We decided to check out the beautiful tropical rain forests of Puerto Rico on our first day of the trip.Our guide for the day was this local guy who was friendly & knew a lot about all the flora & fauna of the forests. We had a mother & daughter couple as fellow travelers with us for this trip to the rain forest. We do love to spend time outdoors; not to say that we are athletic, but we just love being a little closer ...

... one of the most gorgeous beaches..the town is passed in 5 minutes, chickens walking their babies around, inbetweeen and on the cars..publicos are enjoying the blooming business and carrying the hundreds of gringos anywhere they desire to go.. in the campsite i get greeted by a life-long traveler John willing to share all he has collected with dumpster diving and of course to brighten up his days his tent is located just next to the only soap allowed showers...

All flights arrive to BQN at extremely inconvenient times 4am! During my time in Rincon I made the trip thrice. Call Carlos in Rincon. He is dependable, friendly, speaks fluent English, is a Rincon local, has a huge van for your surf boards and is an all around good guy.
