A reasonably early start and we decided to have an easy last day in Guanajuato.
One church that I decided to attempt to find was the church of silver miners. We took a ten minute taxi ride to la Valenciana, about ten k out of the centre of town. We have been staying with Mario's parents and brother, Geraldo since Saturday in Salvatierra. Mario's mother has been cooking some wonderful food for us every day. Fresh salsas with beans and chorizo or free range beef that is so lean it looks like veal, Mexican hot chocolate, atolè and many other great dishes.
