I spent almost a week in Negril, a long stretch of beaches along the western tip of Jamaica. Very popular with tourists. I walked the beach several times and I've been annoyed by the "farmers" and the like on a regular basis. They are sometimes aggressive. Better to walk along the road than the beach at night to/from the restaurant for obvious reasons. Nice sunsets.

... birthday. After dinner we went to a local bar, Reggae Mart. I think it's one of my new favorite places. Its just a small bar on top of a little shop, but the owner is really nice, and the bartender lady is really cool, and I always have a great time.
