There's a rainbow over the harbour this morning, I wonder if that means rain or sunshine will prevail. Before we leave we update the blogs and book a hotel in the airport in Doha for our stopover when we return from Namibia. We should get to the port today, so possibly sail tonight. The scenery today is lovely, the hills wirh the mountains beyond have a look of the Lake District. There are a lot of the wetland areas with masses of storks feeding. Doris, or rather ...

... When we got back to the port, the Costa Magica had pulled in next to us. What a difference! People everywhere!

A quiet day on board. I managed to insult a very rude woman who pushed in front of me then went on and on and on asking questions about Istanbul. I finally asked if it was ok to interrupt this woman who had pushed in front of me. The other highlight was sitting ...

I don’t have the creative writing instincts that Ed has, so I’ll just say ...

... a short walk down the road. It was already quiet warm and it was going to get hotter today. I walked down to some shops, here i got some supplies – bottled water and more sun screen. I then walked back to the resort via the beach. Contiki had stopped offering water sports as optionals, instead they told you where you could do them – the beach across the road from the resort. I found the watersports area and checked on prices for various activities including para-sailing.

... these on our luggage and the resort staff would drive the luggage up the hill to the rooms. We then had to walk up the hill to the rooms. My room was on the top level. Each level had two sub levels, and i was on the top one of that, also my room was in the middle of the hill, as the road went up both sides. So the
result was that there was no real short way of getting there. The plus side was that i had a good view.

Once i got to the room i unpacked my ...
