The log cabins were warm with gas fire and full catering facilities including micro-wave and fridge. However I think there are a lot of cheaper and better located cabins in the area. Even the Chateau had cheaper drop in rates for a room and these were alongside the lake and the hotel 5 star. Not good value to me as we had 3 nights in Bellagio in Vegas for $100 per night cheaper.

... at Morraine Lake our afternoon was consumed at Lake Louise or as we like to call it 'Blake Louise'. Overlooking the Lake is another amazing Fairmont Hotel - Chateau Lake Louise. Costs a pretty penny to stay there that's for sure!
After admiring the lake in between the crowds of people in front of it we started a hike to Lake Agnes and the Tea House that was 3.4k up hill.
We were expecting views of Lake Louise from the top but there ...
