      ... I happily complied.

The next photo is of me with an artillery shell from the USS Alabama. My caption needs a bit of explanation, though. I DO own a WWII practice shell that's about 20" tall. I call it my "bullet," and bought it at a yard sale some years ago. So . . . this bullet is bigger than mine.

Larry has been craving some vegetables, so we went to Kitty's Kafe for lunch. Great place! Larry bought me a T-Shirt that says ...

... so we came back to the condo. Larry was sitting outside on the patio, drying off in the sun, Josh outside with him, when he saw something I'd never heard of before: they saw a dragonfly snatch a butterfly in mid-air and proceed to EAT it! We had planned to visit Fort Morgan today, but had somewhere else to go first. A church five miles from the Plantation was having a yard sale! Josh got two shirts, a pair of jeans, and a laundry bag. I got five tops. Four of these tops fit, and one is TOO BIG. I knew it would be too big, but just couldn't resist it, because it reminded me of the recent odyssey of two dear friends. Phil and Caroll, could I have ...

I have a confession: Larry and I slept till after 8:30AM today! Lovely. Then we had coffee on our little patio, ate breakfast, and headed for the zoo. I was absolutely delighted with Josh's shirt that he chose: Release the Animal. What a shirt to wear to the zoo! The second photo is OUT OF ORDER. It's one Josh made of Larry and me in the swing by one of the swimming pools. I'd sent it to Ali, and she asked me to post ...

      Expect the Unexpected

The Feast of Tabernacles has come and gone, along with the Last Great Day. It's marvelous to think of what it all pictures and to dream of what's to come. How wonderful it is to know that we have a Creator who has our best intentions in mind, and keeps His promises.

As with every year, we packed up our vehicles and headed toward our temporary dwellings. This year held a new experience and test of faith for me, my husband and our 18 month old daughter. Our car ...
