    Last stop in NA

... a beautiful take off to complement the beautiful landing a few days before.

LA went fairly smoothly, although getting our rental was an adventure (went ok, took a long time and we felt really sorry for another traveller who ended up going all the way out to discover there were no walk up cars available). First time driving here in nearly a decade. Hotel was interesting. Clearly a resort, but older and in a city!

One more day left in NA...

nachos we'd ever seen. Lots of takeout boxes for all the leftover
foods we have been eating so far!

... s all over the place. So after was seemed like 5 miles, (definitely a lot further 1 mile), we finally make it to above the sign and guess what, you can’t sit on top of it. First because it is flat, not the wide ledge some movies make it out to be, and secondly since it is flat they fence it off because I am sure it could break easily if too many people were all over it. So we got some great views from behind, but the great treasure was the view beyond. We could see all of ...

So this morning we got up early and started to get ready - the tour bus was due at 8:35 however at 8:15 I could hear a horn beeping...they were early! So we jumped in the bus as they drove us around for over an hour before we reached their offices, where we then got back on the bus and travelled another hour to Warner bros studio, where they dropped us off and let us go in and collect our tickets before ...
