... so our white bods were more protected.
Had a nice lunch at one of the places at Pier Park and then back for a swim and a shower. Later we ventured out to complete the unfinished Mini Golf game that Louise was presently in the lead after hole #1. Well well well tonight was finally our night. Team Marshmeier finally prevailed over the Sach power couple. We ...
... s state park, for more fun in the sun. Hearing the words "state park" instantly brought images of hiking to my mind, so i quickly put an end to this madness, by announcing my retirement from traveling and all out door activities. All i want is a quiet day curled up on my couch watching football, and go no further than the 10 steps to the kitchen. But since I don't have a house and my couch is crammed into a storage facility 3000+ miles away, i ...
... to slip off to the campground shop in a desperate attempt to find some souvenir to try and pass off as a birthday gift. I left the shop with the best two items: tropical Starbursts and a postcard with a talking dolphin on it...jackpot! I was just hiding in the tent writing on the postcard when I heard Marc call out... They were now ready to really put me in the birthday doghouse by having bought a delicious chocolate cake complete with a #3 and #4 candle on top. I think ...
... but since my partner in crime Ms Leslie (The same lady who i seem to recall purchasing the fireballs the previous night) was sleeping, I only had myself for company.
We stopped for lunch at "Hardees" which is a fast food chain here on the East\Middle where ever we are. We were sad to discover Hardees is really a Carl's Junior in disguise (Very disappointing..though they do deliver your food to your ...
Boys are still in Tallahassee, so I got to spend time w my sisters, taking them to see the houses I saw & they loved my favorite one! We laugh so hard when we're together! Lunch at Finn's & I am learning my way around pcb! Picked up the boys & got ready to leave for northern Alabama. Went over to visit w one of my favorite people, Shea's mom, Wendy. I just love her! Took the kids to Funtown where we played lots of games (skeeball!) & won lots of ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Paradise Found Resort and Hotel Panama City Beach
Stayed for two nights. The rooms have a gorgeous view of the ocean. They are a little outdated but clean. Only down side was the fact that the maid did not come and clean the room everyday. But if you are looking for a place to sleep and a great view at a good price I would recommend it. I would stay there again. The fact that the maid didnt clean my room wasnt that big of a deal to me.
My husband and I stayed at the Ramada this past weekend August 18-22. The rooms were clean. All the rooms are beachfront so I would request for a room by one of the pools. We ended up way on the west side and had to lug everything everytime we wanted to go to the pool. They have several walkways to the beach which was nice. The pools were nice. The waterfall pool was very cold. The hot tub was nice. The only thing I didn't like was the elevator oh and the fact we had to call housekeeping to come clean our room the 2nd day we were there. It seems they just passed our room up but after that no problems. The continential breakfast was ok. We got there late but there was still a bunch of different cereals, oatmeal, doughnuts and fruit. We got a good deal so we can't complain. All in all it was suitable for what we needed and the beach is beautiful.
Tile floors is better for beaches
Listen, there is no carpet in the room because of the sand. It is a good idea to put tile on the floors in beachy areas so it does not smell later on! Use your common sense. My stay was fine. I don't understand why people have to GRIPE over the smallest things.
Loved the motel!!
was there the week of june14-18, the motel was beautiful, the view was breath taking!! the staff was very helpful, would recommend to anyone, when i go back, i will come here, no other motel!!
We'll be back!!!!!!!
I just got back from Spring Break 2004 @ the Ramada inn and loved it!!! The rooms were decent, but with exceptional views!!! The front desk was great about having people come and swim in the pool, and they also had a ton of spring break activities going on during the day. You also can hang at the Days Inn and party there!!!!! Spring Break 2005 I'll be back!!
The room isn't great, but the rooms have great views. There isn't any carpet but that is probably for the better considering all the sand that we tracked in. For Spring Break 2003 this was a great location.
They had bands and stuff set up for us on the beach; College Network was there filming their events that were right behind the hotel.
Harpoon Harry's and another club are right next door, so is Hooters.
They always have activities on the beach for everyone. We played volleyball everyday on the beach. Good Times.
I was very dissappointed. Our room leaked and we were only offered extra towels from housekeeping to soak up the water. They didn;t empty the ashtrays when they cleaned, we requested an extra chair for porch and never got it, they did't leave shampoo, soap or coffee for the next day. Phone was cut off when it gets to 20.00 without notice, the attendents at night were so ugly when i asked them about it , we just went and bought a cell phone. Days Inn is much nicer than this motel was.+
I stayed here and I loved it. The rates were not bad,a nd the room was very clean. know there is no carpet, ut we are talking about the beach. Carpet is to much to maintain. Anyway. The room was very spacious and it had one of the best pools around. There is also a great deck, and laundry facilities. There is even a PizzaHu on the property.
This hotel's outside appearance and website description was very deceiving. The hotel has no carpet in the rooms, a loose balcony rail in the room we checked into, the elevator didn't work, there was trash and beer cans all over the grounds, and the last straw was when my 4 year old screamed because a bug crawled out of the drain in the bathtub. We stayed for all of one hour before checking out. The only thing good I can say is that the staff was friendly and did not charge us a dime. We checked into the Boardwalk Beach Resort Howard Johnson that same day, it was cheaper, nicer, and more family oriented by far.
We stayed there!
The room was not as nice as expected, boasting only one garbage can, one porch chair, and no fridge or microwave for more than $100 per night. The beach view is beautiful and there are 2 pools, one of which has a great waterfall. Housekeeping was lax, neglecting to leave cups, and do other usually expected chores.
