... the Seven Canyons Walk; a fantastic short hike up a number of canyons via a series of ladders. We then spent the evening walking the old city walls and forts of Brasov. This was largely thanks to the inside knowledge of the Romanian, who was essentially a pseudo tour guide for the day. A real highlight of our time in Brasov. This was followed by a day of recovery strolling around Brasov, sampling the local pastries, and then heading to a 'tribute festival' in the evening, ...

... We went to 2 churches and had to dodge church services to see them. We walked around a lot and then went to a cafe. ... check out the Botanical gardens and do a Dungeon escape activity, but both were cash only. I tried to get as good of a look at the gardens from outside of the fence, and then decided to head back.

The dungeon escape activity required a reservation. The activity is basically to (try to) escape a dungeon for an hour after being locked in. They blocked the afternoon’s reservations and the only ones that were available were later in the evening. ...
