... having a beer and watching a man try to dig his van out of the snow. To my knowledge his van is to this moment where it was when I left the bar.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to post some pictures of Canillo when it's snowy and the sun comes out. Don't have too many, but figured it was worth a post.
... month). I wandered around Andorra la Ville, the capital city here, for the majority of today. This is when I realized the importance of shoes that don't get wet in the snow, even my two pairs of socks defense was useless to stand up to the icy attacker. When I realized everything in the capital relates to shopping for things that cost insane amounts of money, I decided to trek back here and post some pictures. Hope you like them and I'll keep you updated.
Time to attempt something I’ve always been itching to do: rock climbing. And not the kind done on indoor walls with padded flooring. Real out-in-the-open, unforgiving stone ROCK CLIMBING!
Out in the Pyrenees in the Ariege region with it’s beautiful slopes lie a multitude of rock faces covered in climbers pretending to be Spiderman.
Even though it’s something I’ve always wanted to try, there were a few ...

If you happen to wander in range they will bark furiously and give you many warnings to get away. If you don’t heed the warnings - you’re at your own risk with a fierce dog that comes up to your ...
Marc, Midi-Pyrénées, France 2totango... for instructions from our guide. Far enough now, and the group waits in solid silence for what comes next.
Perfectly positioned, the guide turns on a single light and we’re blinded with a whole wall full of images! Not just simple line drawing either - they are quite detailed. Many make use of the natural contours of the rock and the shadows that it creates to add life and depth to the images. A truly remarkable sight as image after ...
... were lost? Tried to get the dog to 'allez maison', but he wouldn't go anywhere for us.
Brian was determined that he knew what way to go, so I just kept following him. Once we were at the river, where do we head up? And then I heard it. That damn rooster started crowing and we knew we were heading in the right direction. That same rooster that attacked me was now guiding me. ****, I guess I can’t beat him up now!
... the rope to pull us bak up, bring is following kids around at this stage, which was very funny. went up and did a blue slope with gav and dave before lunch. went for lunch in a place just off the bottom of la solana, one of the slopes, and order the house special, pork. now when i tell you it smelt of tasted of wet dog, i think the only people who will understand how revolting it was will be the people at thetable. i've never sent food back before in my life, but i had ...
Pas de la Casa, Andorra gez_skip... cold or wet. We workers aren´t given great living conditions. Food is expensive in Pas de la Casa, so we compromise the quality of what we eat. And we work too much. HM adds: NO COLD-WATER SHOWERS (my all-coldwater-shower policy is an impossibility here due to the tough winter); CHEAP CIGARETTES; ONLY THREE THINGS TO DO (work, ski/snowboard, and drink); and THE CAPITALIST ALGERIAN. I despise that Algerian guy. He´s a common ski-lift worker, and he threatened me ...
Pas de la Casa, Andorra modernoddyseus... you?) "Non. Mais, j´ai un. J´apprends." (No. But, I have one. I´m learning.) A guitar suddenly appeared in his arms, as I layed below him in bed. He fiddled the strings with his fingers. "C´est électrique." (It´s electric.) He played a bit more, suddenly a lot less concerned about whether he´d waken me up or not. For a beginner, he wasn´t half-bad: a bit soothing, really. In further roommate bonding, Cyril made us a really good dinner on ...
