And then there were three…….
I so love Thailand the beaches are amazing, white sands and crystal clear green, blue sea and amazing food. Oh it's lovely to be back in the land of Thai curry….. Masaman, Green, Red and had for the first time the other day Panang yummy.
We cheated a bit and got a flight from Cambodia …
12th and 13th Feb - I was up again to catch a bus at 8 am to go to Koh
Lanta island for 2 nights. My favourite place so far. I stayed in a
really nice place with individual bungalows in the grounds - it was
called Papillon - owned by a Belgian lady - she made all her own
pastries, croissants, pain au chocolat and ciabatta breads …
... decided to go with him. At the resort we checked out the garden view and a beach view bungalow. The garden was clean, crisp and very nice, let alone half of what we have been paying, even half of the roach motel in phi phi. The beachfront once again was beach view not front, and the ant superhighway in the bathroom to the soap dispenser was another minus. So we opted for the garden view for a night before heading down further south to Hat Khlong Nin.

... tuk driver then took us to his friend's hotel - which we didn't like. So, Rich and Paul went off to look at the one next door while Lauren and I skanked some internet. I found the hotel next door on Agoda for 350B but when they wouldn't budge from 500B, bear in mind that it was empty, no other customers and he was turning down their own internet price. The hotel man was saying thay he couldn't do 350B because he was going to have to pay the tuk tuk man commission, a tuk ...
... would be the end of you... I dreaded to think about what accidents they had had here. Once we all reached the platform at the top of the cliff and had congratulated each other on still being alive, we descended the ladder on the other side, down to the most beautiful scene of paradise I have ever set eyes on! It was just trees and sand everywhere. It reminded my of a beautiful illustration of The Garden of Eden in a huge book at home. Sorry to he controversial, but I do ...
