... on board the fast jet ferry to Athens or Piraeus Port and had been told the trip would take five hours. Five hours has come and gone and we are still tossing our way across the sea and will be for another 2 1/2 hours apparently. Its turned into a bit of epic journey and although its more comfortable than a plane its still a very long time to be sitting around and we won't be climbing into bed before 11.30 tonight. We started with warm dolmatas, which are rolled grape leaves stuffed with a rice mixture, and then we also started with a grilled feta dish with roasted onions and peppers. I actually think these two things have made the list for the best things I have ever ate....seriously, ...

... this in English, gesticulating & facial expressions! What a wonderful man & we were both very sad leaving Paros because he had made our stay very special as well as a number of other Holiday Sun personnel. Ellen joined us for dinner again & after having a mojito & probably another Samos it was off to pack! We had to ensure that 2 bottles were safely protected for the long trip home! Said our goodbyes to Ellen & Leonard. ...
