      Today we took a fast 1hr boat ride to Como where we spent most of the day. It also allowed us to check how far the train station is from where the boat drops us off on Friday. Got that all sussed as we have to walk to the train station, not quite far enough to taxi. Como is lovely, again lots of lane ways to explore, which we did and walked along the river. Would be great to hire scooters but the European drivers are a bit crazy and I think ...

      ... hundred bends….but decided to turn back because it was time for Puppo's walk!
      Mon 18th
      Rain - so only half a ww then into Benet's for shopping. Lots of camper van research and cemetery walk in the rain this evening. More web browsing and then Sherlock
      Tues 19th
      Managed a half ww in the drizzle before the rain set in heavily. More van research and face times with J&E. Quick cemetery walk before Ab Fab extravaganza and footie.

      Day 273 3 hrs, 2 kms Just as the valley narrows, there's a beautiful blue lake. Time to take my perfect Alps video clips... I take one, walk a little farther... take another.... It's also a chance to jump in for a refreshing swim. Up until now my daily bath routine in the Alps has mostly been in rushing mountain streams, so this is a very nice change to be able to do some serious swimming.
