    WEDNESDAY 10 JUNE

Ahh the feeling of waking up with no alarm, nothing planned and nowhere to be.

We are still in the lovely Lake Como region, the day has started a little overcast, but its warm and we are in a hotel overlooking a lake. Its so freakin wonderful I have no words to describe this.

We went down to breakfast at the very civilised time of 8am, there was cereal, yoghurt, cold meats, eggs, pastries and breads and fruits. Lots to choose from. A jug ...

What a magnificent location for breakfast. We were seated in the garden overlooking Lake Como. Breakfast was the normal Italian congenital style with cereals meats cheese and cakes. We meet at 8.00 so we can get ready to make the 9.00 ferry. We purchase day passes which cost 78 euro for the four. The ferry trip takes us from Torno to Belliago and that Tok around 2 hours. The town of Belliago is considerably larger than ...

... and we saw the views that had helped us to choose this place. Magnificent outlooks in three directions from our 5th floor, four roomed apartment for a lot less than the hotels round here cost (and get bad reviews). Peter soon had the coffee bubbling and we were able to put our very travel weary clothes through the washing machine. Finding dinner in the dark and rain, with not enough cash to pay if they didn't take cards, was daunting but ...
