          While enjoying breakfast on our deck, lounging in the hot tub as we soaked in the views of the caldera, and making final plans for Paris, oh and planning our retirement home (YES! so ready to spend the rest of our lives on the water and blow off this thing they call work!), we finally made up our minds to spend our last hours in heaven on a boat.           Back to Greece again. Heraklion, capital of Crete, second biggest island in the eastern Med. We are amazed at the size - 650,000 resident population. Switch from Turkish Lira, back to Euro's again. Before we left Mamaris last night went to the duty free in the excellent Port Service Center (Port of Istanbul could learn a lot from Mamaris).           ... ate a big lunch of grilled octopus, stuffed calamari, and a variety of Greek dips and bread, drank a bottle of Prosecco, and even had the town's best gelato as a treat to ourselves for making the hike to Oia (so much for burning off all of those calories). We did not torture ourselves to hike back to Fira, there was a public bus that took us :) We met dad & Lisa who had a relaxing day touring the island by boat and bus, and bragged to them all night about our hike!
