Eco Resort ( not!)
... As he says, he has slept on much worse, but not at these prices! In any case, we did get to the beach, and I did swim in the Bay of Bengal! We are in an entirely different ecosystem from Kakirigumma, which was at 3000 ft. Here at the ocean, there is more of the jungle I was expecting , and very , very hot and humid. Oh, did I mention that already? Still no Internet, which was somewhat of a disappointment. I guess we'll have to wait ...
Happy Holi
... my modesty, always being covered, even in Westernised Goa. But today I managed to change all that! We had a shared bathroom up some steps and down the hallway. On the way back I wore my dress to maintain modesty, however on the top step I slip and fall all the way down in a very dramatic manner. My hands were full of cosmetics, so I had no way to break my fall. My dress most definetly flashed my derriere to the two Indian guys who worked in the hotel and were sat at the bottom ...

Sun temple, sand art & dance festival
... inland) to represent the chariot of the sun god , having 24 carved stone wheels and many erotic carvings. We then drove to Chandrabhaga Beach to see the entries in the International Sand Art Festival , and finally back to the grounds of the temple for the Dance Festival.
