Hindu Temples
A breakfast fit for a Maharaja. The choice was enormous but everything I chose my travelling companion said would be bad for my 'condition' which is now into its 5th day. I chose to ignore and had my mango juice and cubed pineaple and melon before lining my delicate stomach with some toast and cheese. This is where I spent the last 4 days. This was all founded by one man, Dr. Samanta. He ...
Sun temple, sand art & dance festival
Saturday 3rd Drove to Puri (don't bother - a sh!thole), and the basic Lotus Hotel. Lunch and dinner at the Spice Cottage - cheap, decent food and quick service.
Sunday 4th We visited the Konark (Sun) Temple, built in the mid 13th century by the sea (but now a couple ...
