Day 2 - Milano

A travel blog entry by the_wes on Oct 24, 2015

After nearly 24hrs in transit, we arrived in Milano. Everyone was happy to finally arrive in Italy, but then came immigration. I swear we had to wait 30-40mins to get through immigration, one upside of waiting so long, the bags were ready to be picked up. Did you know that the snow over here ...

... early evening and its pretty quiet. The windows open straight out to the narrow streets, and being just a floor up, you hear people's conversations easily as they walk by or stop to browse window display of the odd shop close by. Speaking of which, the one across from us is a deli and liquor shop with lots of salamis. We guess their affinity with all things pork accounts for their window display, featuring all manner of piggy figurines in an array of sexual displays! ...
